I have collected and represented the data on the surfing championship. The poster represents the information about the event held in a specific surfing spot. Totally each year, 12 events held. The colour represents the country which a winning surfer represented. Since the Championship is dependant on weather conditions, they are held in various spots every year. Therefore I also wanted to represent the specific feature of the surfing Championship. Specific places, like Santa Cruz, California was not having an event in the next years again, and some surfer may remain at the top chart there even ten years later. There was another trend that I have explored during the project: younger surfers are participating, and the number of surfing professionals taking part in the Championship is also rising.
